Dr. Shane Claiborne
Dr. Claiborne earned his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 2003, and then completed a two-year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. During this time, he received extensive training and supervision in all aspects of dental implant treatment.
He completed further dental implant training at the Misch International Implant Institute, the Midwest Implant Institute, and other organizations. In 2008, in recognition of his outstanding knowledge and skills, he was awarded the status of fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, one of the highest honors an implant dentist can receive.
Dr. Emma A. Schmidt
Dr. Emma A. completed her undergraduate degree at Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia and her dental degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduating, Dr. Schmidt pursued a 1-year General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor Veterans Hospital where she learned to care for medically compromised patients in a dental setting.
After completing her residency, she began her private practice career and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia Dental Association.
